
Staying hydrated is ALWAYS important. With the warmer weather or during exercise, it is even more important to help with tolerance to heat, reduce fatigue, reduce dry skin flare ups such as eczema, help with sunburns, help with constipation and decrease joint pain.
Here are some refreshing tips you can implement in your water regime to make sure you are staying hydrated!
For flavour: fresh lemon or lime! This can also help with digestion and skin
Water infusions: adding fruits such as berries & water melon, citrus fruits or vegetables like cucumber (5 slices worth, peel the skin off as it is a part of the dirty dozen) can be tasty and refreshing. Infuse the mixture for a few hours or overnight in the fridge
Herbs: like mint leaves and ginger
Herbal Iced-Tea: making sure they do not contain caffeine or additives such as flavour. Lavender is always a nice herbal tea that I enjoy mixing with berries.

Lavender Tea with Berries
- You can buy Lavender, Chamomile or Lavender Chamomile Tea
- Boil water or use a filtration system and steep the tea for 20-30 minutes (you can leave it in more or less depending on the strength you like)
- Let tea cool
- Add in 1/3 cup of blueberries and 1/3 cup of raspberries overnight, refrigerate and enjoy the next day!
